REQUEST!

I have a huge request. My parents are trying to work through a few things mentally, physically, and spiritually as we can all imagine. My mom has said several times that she would like to hear how people heard about the accident, what your reaction was and what not. You can either post it under the comments or email it or snail mail it. It would be much appreciated.

This might not be what your looking for , but I feet like we should share our excperience for the night of the accident. We love and respect Jim and Wendy, so I hope this helps you with what your looking for.
I heard about the accident while sitting a soccer game. Leanna Millgate got a hold of me. I was SHOCKED! I could not believe what I was hearing. I found someone to take my kids when the game was over and took off. I called Jerry on my was to the hospital, his first response is get to the hospital and see if there was anything we could do. He said he would be there as soon as possible. I then heard from Rhonda Hone and Steve Lane. I heard that there had been an accident and that Jim and Wendy were in the hospital. My stomach sank, not Jim and Wendy! I got to the hospital and saw they kids, I went over to help try and comfort them. I was not able to see Jim, they were getting ready to move him to ICU. I went to Wendy's room, her dad by her side holding her hand, he let go for a few moments so that I could hold her hand and give her some love. I went with the family to ICU, and we waited. Jerry had his car pool drop him off and and he waited with us. We stayed with the little ones while Jodi and other family members had there time with them, finaly we had our turn to go back and see them. We went to see Jim , we had not seen him yet, he looked goof for what he had just been through. We do not even know if he knew we were there. But it was WONDERFUL to see him alive! Then we went to Wendy. Beautiful Wendy. She had so much going on with her and her main concern she had was her babies. What a wonderful mother. She had been so strong through all this and yet, still so loving and tender. We have not been able to get to the hospital in person since, but our prayers and spirts have been there with them the entire time.
We love the blog and my kids, Jerry and I can hardly wait for Jim and Wendy to get home. Our love and prayers are with the entire family and we know that they are going to get through all of these trials, they have to they are Jim and Wendy!
